Crutin: dialectal Piedmont term referring to a small cellar
where wines and grappa are refined and improved.
This typical cellar is made by digging the hill under the
public way, where many years ago the steam boiler,
Cornwall type, was seated, feeding the old discontinuous
alembic of the previous distillery.
Today this place is set up to “barricaia”, in other words
it is here that our high quality products such as Antiquaria and
Antologica Grappa d’Epoca, are refined in barriques
made of French oak essence.
