Monovarietal Grappa “Bricco del Vignaiolo”
Chardonnay, cl. 70, 42°.
The vine
Vigorous, white-berry vine. It spread all over the world during the XIX century.
In Italy it is present from Piedmont, Valle d’Aosta, Triveneto up to Tuscany and Sicily.
Leaf is medium size as the size of the conical bunch. A golden-yellow colour and a
tender skin (medium consistency) describe its grape.
Organoleptic–sensory notes
Transparent, bright colour. This grappa is appreciated thanks to its fresh, tender and
lightly aromatic taste that becomes clear at the end.
Intense perfume, pleasant at the smell, fruity with apple and banana echoes.
Excellent as digestive after meal and with milk or dark chocolate, good also with small
pastries, cookies or tartlets.
Temperature of service
Grappa is used to be drunk between 9° - 13° C, ideal temperature especially for new,
aromatic grappa. If you have any doubts, it would be better to taste grappa in a cooler
way, in fact, before drinking it, it is always possible to warm it holding the glass in the
palm of your hand.
