Monovarietal Grappa “Bricco del Vignaiolo”
Moscato, cl. 70, 42°.
The vine
Moscato d’Asti is a Docg white berry vine. Its production area includes Asti and
Alessandria province, and a little part of Cuneo commune: 52 communes on the whole.
Leaf is trilobated but you can find it also five sized; bunch is instead long and
cylindrical. Grape is medium size, spherical and with thin, yellow-green skin.
Organoleptic-sensory notes
White, transparent, its aromatic musk fragrance expresses citrus and light nuances of
pink wood. Its soft taste becomes wrapping thanks to a lasting, fruity end.
Coupling
Excellent as digestive after meal and with milk or dark chocolate, good also with small
pastries, cookies or tartlets.
Temperature of service
Grappa is used to be drunk between 9° - 13° C, ideal temperature especially for new,
aromatic grappa. If you have any doubts, it would be better to taste grappa in a cooler
way, in fact, before drinking it, it is always possible to warm it holding the glass in the
palm of your hand.
