Arneis, cl. 70, 42°.
Monovarietal Grappa “Bricco degli Apostoli”
The vine
Autochthonous Piedmontese red berry vine. Roero is its principal area of production,
in fact, several documents certify its presence in the area since the fifteenth century.
Its leaf is wedge-shape or pentagonal, trilobated or five sized. Grape, finally, is medium
or small size, characterized by yellow-greenish colour (with grey-golden tone if
exposed to sunlight) covered by a very pruinose skin.
Organoleptic-sensory notes
Harmony, softness, elegance: those are the qualities enhanced while tasting grappa of
Arneis. Its colour is white, its perfume is delicate and floral with a hint of Dog Rose.
Coupling
Excellent as digestive after meal and with milk or dark chocolate, good also with small
pastries, cookies or tartlets.
Temperature of service
Grappa is used to be drunk between 9° - 13° C, ideal temperature especially for new,
aromatic grappa. If you have any doubts, it would be better to taste grappa in a cooler
way, in fact, before drinking it, it is always possible to warm it holding the glass in the
palm of your hand.
